i think its extremely important to take control over what you experience on the internet, what you listen to, what you watch, what you read, really just about everything you do on the internet especially if you care about these things and want to keep them safe.

the internet has rotted in ways that i could go on about for hours, corporate has shat all over this lovely pasture and will continue to shit all over it until the day it dies. i hate whats happened to such a beautiful thing, they have too much control over *your* internet, over *your* experience, over *your* emotions.

because of this, i offer my resource guide of how you can make your experience a little (or a lot) less miserable. this will cover streaming (music, movies, shows), cloud storage, piracy, selfhosting, and whatever i can think of that i think is relatively helpful.
